Mangaluru: Two minor boys travelling without tickets were found in the general coach of train No.16585 Murudeshwar Express on Thursday, while journeying from Mandya. The timely alert and information shared by TTE Shetty with ASI Surjith Singh of the RPF, Udupi, led to swift action. When the train arrived at Udupi railway station at 10.54 am, Sabitha, along with Surjith Kumar and Sunil, immediately intervened and rescued the two children.After completing the required legal formalities, the minors were handed over to the child help-desk in Udupi for further procedures.
The coordinated effort, alertness, and prompt response of the railway and RPF personnel reflected a strong commitment to child safety and passenger welfare, stated Konkan Railway.
