Ahmedabad: Citizens are already feeling the rise in temperatures and are shunning woollens. On Friday, the maximum temperature was 34.3°C, which was 4.1 degrees higher than normal. In fact, the city recorded a rise of 3.1°C in 3 days. At 19.2°C, the minimum temperature was also 5.2°C higher than normal, giving no respite to citizens even though it is the first half of Feb.According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecast, the minimum temperature on Saturday is likely to be around 19°C. Across the state, there will be no major change in minimum temperatures for the next seven days, the forecast indicated.Across the state, minimum temperatures remained above 15°C, except 14.3°C in Naliya, and maximum temperatures remained above 24°C, except in a few coastal towns in Saurashtra.
