New Delhi: Max Healthcare on Tuesday said it has collaborate with Google to enable patients to book hospital appointments directly through Google Search and Google Maps, aiming to simplify and speed up access to healthcare services.
Under the collaboration, users searching for Max Hospitals, doctors or medical specialties on Google will now see a ‘Book Online’ option, which redirects them to Max Healthcare’s official appointment booking platform. The feature is powered by Google’s Appointments Redirect capability and is designed to reduce steps in the booking process and provide patients with verified and up-to-date information.
The company said the authenticated redirection helps improve patient trust by guiding users to official Max Healthcare platforms instead of unverified third-party sources.
“A large number of patients begin their healthcare journey through a search on Google. Our goal is to make the journey from search to appointment as simple as possible,” said Anas Abdul Wajid, Senior Director and Chief Sales and Marketing Officer, Max Healthcare. He added that the initiative aligns with the company’s broader digital transformation strategy to create a more seamless and patient-centric healthcare ecosystem.
The integration will be available across all Max Healthcare facilities, ensuring uniform access for patients across regions.
Max Healthcare said the collaboration is part of its efforts to strengthen India’s digital healthcare ecosystem and improve patient experience by making trusted healthcare services easier to access.
