Ahmedabad: The mere act of walking past a parked vehicle allegedly triggered an assault at the parking area of the Venus Atlantis complex on 100 Feet Road.According to the complaint filed with Anandnagar police, the attack occurred at 3.30am on Jan 29, when Himanshu Sisodiya walked past the vehicle. The complainant, Darshan Raval, an account manager at an office in the Venus Atlantis complex, is Sisodiya’s colleague. Raval said he was in the basement parking area of the complex and was speaking with his friend, Pratham Shah. Raval said that at the time, a car bearing no registration plates halted in the passageway. The driver and three other men allegedly got out of the car and began arguing with Sisodiya about his walking past their vehicle. When Raval intervened to stop the fight, two men allegedly turned on him, abused him, and assaulted him with punches and kicks. The complaint registered with Anandnagar police stated that one attacker allegedly attempted to throw a dustbin at Raval, while another allegedly tried to strike him with an iron rod but was restrained by others.
