New Delhi: A 47-year-old employee of a private company was robbed of Rs25 lakh in northwest Delhi’s Subhash Place on Friday.The complainant, Mangal, told police that he was returning from Kucha Mahajani on his motorcycle when two unidentified men on a bike intercepted him, forcibly snatched the cash, and fled.In a separate incident, two unidentified men tried to rob a businessman and his grandfather of Rs 1 lakh at gunpoint in east Delhi’s Madhu Vihar. Police said they received information about the incident on April 9.The complainant said around 10.30 pm, near a banquet hall, the two men on a motorcycle approached them. One assailant threatened them with a firearm and snatched a bag containing cash. During the chase, the accused fired in the air and later discarded the bag and weapon before fleeing.
