Kanpur: A man was arrested for allegedly raping his 15-year-old niece. Police arrested the accused and registered a case under Pocso Act on the basis of a complaint filed by the girl’s mother. The girl’s mother stated that she, along with her husband had gone to work while their daughter was at home. The accused, who is her brother-in-law and lives in neighbourhood, came to the house and raped the girl. When she reached home, she saw him with her daughter and protested, but the accused pushed her and fled. Station in-charge Arun Dwivedi said that the accused was sent to jail.
