T’puram: Fort police on Monday arrested Sanjith (22) for allegedly breaking into a relative’s house at Attukal and assaulting her on Friday. According to the complaint, the woman noticed Sanjith in the courtyard of her house late at night and questioned his presence. Enraged by this, he reportedly verbally abused her and then physically assaulted her. The attack left the woman injured, and she was admitted to a private hospital. Police said Sanjith has prior criminal cases registered against him at Fort police station. TNN
