Gurgaon: A 46-year-old man died on Wednesday after a tractor-trolley allegedly rammed into the motorcycle he was travelling on near GD Goenka College in Sohna.The deceased, Chanchal Kumar Yadav, was living as a tenant in Bajghera. Police said the accident occurred around 12.15am on April 1 when Chanchal was riding pillion on a motorcycle driven by his brother, Panchdev Yadav. They were travelling from Sohna towards the city when a tractor-trolley, allegedly being driven rashly and at high speed, hit their motorcycle from behind.The impact threw both men off the bike. While Panchdev fell to one side, Chanchal was flung forward and suffered severe head injuries. The tractor-trolley overturned after the collision and the driver fled, leaving the vehicle behind.Passers-by took Chanchal to Govt Hospital Sohna, where doctors declared him dead.Based on a complaint filed by Panchdev, a case was registered under sections 106 (causing death by negligence) and 281 (rash driving) of BNS at City Sohna police station. Police said efforts are underway to identify and arrest the driver.
