Times News NetworkLudhiana: Division number 3 police on Monday arrested Sushil Kumar, who allegedly killed his live-in partner, Radhika, 20, in Fatehganj Mohalla. Police said that he strangled her to death after a heated argument. The accused told the police that Radhika would talk to her ex-husband and another man, which caused dispute between them.Her body was found on June 10, when locals noticed a foul smell emanating from the rented accommodation, which was locked from outside. They alerted the landlady, Gurwinder Kaur, and Krishna, the victim’s brother, who lives in the same colony. They broke open the door and found her body under a bundle of clothes on the floor and informed the police.Inspector Aditya Sharma, SHO, division number 3 police station, said that the police arrested the accused from Gonda district. He confessed to his crime and said that Radhika remained in touch with her ex-husband, Rahul. Sunil said that he had also asked Radhika’s sister, Asha, to intervene and to get her to cut ties with her ex-husband and the other man.Sharma added, “Days before the incident, Sunil had a fight with Radhika over the issue, after which Sunil left the city and went to Mumbai.
