Jaipur: An Enforcement Directorate (ED) team from Raipur, Chhattisgarh, Wednesday raided a five-star hotel at Kukus on Jaipur-Delhi road in connection with Mahadev betting app case.According to sources, the team received confidential information on some suspects staying at the hotel. Though the zonal ED office in Jaipur said they had no information on the development, sources said the ED team from Raipur questioned at least three persons associated with the Mahadev betting app.Some incriminating documents, electronic devices and other items were seized by the ED.In the Mahadev betting app case, an ED team from Chhattisgarh raided a dry fruit merchant’s house in Jaipur on April 16. The ED team searched the flat of businessman Bharat Dadhich at Apple Residency in Sodala. Additionally, search operations were conducted at 60 locations connected to people linked with the Mahadev betting app in Chhattisgarh, Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh), Kolkata (West Bengal), Delhi and Rajasthan.During the search operations, a seizure of Rs 3.29 crore was made, along with the freezing of securities, bonds and demat accounts worth more than Rs 573 crore. Various incriminating documents and electronic records were also seized.
