Vadodara: An adult leopard died after a car hit it on the newly built Vadodara-Mumbai Expressway on Sunday. The incident occurred near Padra taluka when the leopard tried to cross the road.The car, which was on its way from Surat to Vadodara, hit the leopard, killing it on the spot. The car also suffered major damage due to the impact of the accident.The forest department reached the spot and investigated the incident. The leopard’s carcass was sent for a postmortem.
