Lucknow: The pathology laboratory at Ram Sagar Mishra Joint Hospital will now examine blood samples from three more hospitals under the spoke-and-hub model.The lab was inaugurated by deputy CM Brajesh Pathak recently.
Now, samples from TB Hospital Thakurganj, Bhau Rao Deoras Hospital Mahanagar and the 50-bed Hospital Chinhat will also be sent there for testing. According to additional director, Lucknow Division, Dr GP Gupta, the lab was assigned this additional responsibility due to the availability of modern equipment and trained staff. Chief medical superintendent of the hospital, Dr Vijay Sharma, said, “With more hospitals being connected to our lab, patients will get accurate test results faster.”
