Bengaluru: Chief minister Siddaramaiah Sunday urged Union minister Hardeep Singh Puri to quickly take the steps he has assured to ensure there is no disruption in LPG supply. Speaking to reporters here, the CM said the state govt has written to the Centre urging it to explore alternatives such as importing gas from abroad to address the shortage. Siddaramaiah said the issue was also raised in the legislature and the govt is cognisant of the impact on people who depend on hotels for food.Responding to BJP’s criticism of alleged mismanagement, he said BJP leaders should ensure higher LPG supply instead of making statements.
