Kota: Veteran Congress functionary and Bundi MLA Harimohan Sharma said Sunday he was invited to the foundation-laying ceremony of the Kota-Bundi Greenfield Airport and his name put on the plaque only after he raised the issue in the Rajasthan Assemly with colleagues Narendra Budania and Shatrughan Gautam.Sharma said that two days before the ceremony on Saturday, Bundi collector Akshya Godara called him Thursday and formally invited him, and he accepted the invitation. He added that the collector informed him that the incumbent MLA’s name was inscribed on the plaque and a seat was reserved for him on the stage with guests.He said he was happy to have received a warm response from Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla and chief minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, who stood up from their seats to respond with shaking hands with him when he greeted them on the stage.
