Guwahati: Assam chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Friday said drugs worth Rs 300 crore were destroyed in the first 100 days of the present BJP-led government in the state, signalling an intensified crackdown on narcotics networks across the state.Sarma said the seized contraband was destroyed at Daulasal in Nalbari using Assam’s first dedicated narcotics incinerator.“Tick tock on the clock, the crackdown doesn’t stop. 100 days, 100% action,” Sarma posted on X, sharing details of the operations under the caption “100 days of Surakshit Assam”.“Seizures, arrests, destruction of drug networks, we are sending one message loud and clear: There is no place to hide.
