Krishnagiri: After a long dry spell, heavy rain with hailstones lashed parts of Krishnagiri district on Wednesday afternoon. Hailstones were reported from Denkanikottai, Thally and nearby villages.The rain brought down the temperature in the region, turning the weather pleasant. Local farmers were relieved as the rain provided much-needed water for their crops. Moderate rainfall was recorded from Hosur and Krishnagiri.
