Hazaribag: BJP will enforce a Hazaribag bandh on Monday if those involved in the death of a 12-year-old girl aren’t caught, state party president and Rajya Sabha MP Aditya Sahu said on Friday after visiting the bereaved family.The girl’s body was found on Wednesday at a secluded place near her village. On Tuesday night, she was last spotted dancing during the Mangala julus as part of Ram Navami celebrations but went missing thereafter.Sahu said, “We condemn the incident. If police fail to arrest the culprits soon, we will call a Hazaribag bandh on Monday.”Hazaribag MP Manish Jaiswal too backed the bandh call stating that the party demands arrest of the culprits in 48 hours.SDPO B N Prasad, who is heading the special investigation team (SIT) formed to probe the case, said that efforts are on to crack the case. “We have received some inputs regarding the culprits. Police are working on them to apprehend them,” he said.Villagers demanded capital punishment for the culprits and also took out a candlelight procession after the crime came to light.
