Hazaribag: A man drowned in a lake of Hazaribag city while fishing, police said on Monday. The deceased was identified as Mohammad Kalim (50), a resident of Sardar Chowk Mohalla. Officer in-charge of the Lohsighna police station Rohit Kerketta said, “Family members of the deceased told police that he had left home on Sunday morning as usual to catch fish in the lake but did not return till late in the night. They began a search and found his fishing gear and a tiffin box on the bank of the lake. His body was later found floating in the lake. An investigation is under way to ascertain the circumstances leading to the death.”
