Hazaribag: A 24-year-old man from the district was killed in a road accident in Oman on Wednesday. The deceased Pradeep Kumar was a resident of Jabar village under Bishnugarh police station limits. A mechanic by profession, Kumar was taken to Oman along with 200 others three months ago for setting up transmission lines.Kumar had taken ill in Oman and was admitted to a hospital. Upon his discharge, Kumar was returning home on Wednesday when he met with the fatal accident. Bishnugarh police intimated the deceased’s father Punas Mahto, who in turn appealed the administration to bring the dead body to village for the last rites. Confirming the development, Bishnugarh sub divisonal police officer B N Prasad said, “We are looking into the matter for further action.”
