Gurgaon: A 17-year-old boy was stabbed to death by a man following a dispute over Rs 3,000 in Sector 14 on Tuesday afternoon.Police said the incident took place around 1.30pm when Keshav, a resident of Bada Baijpur village in Palwal district, was stabbed by Manu (24), whom he knew from his earlier workplace, following an altercation.Based on the CCTV footage, police nabbed Manu, a resident of Gurgaon’s Sheetla Colony, from the same area in the evening.“Keshav was stabbed on his left shoulder and one half of the knife got stuck in his body. Manu fled the spot with the other half,” a police officer said. Two eyewitnesses rushed Keshav to a private hospital. He was later referred to Fortis Hospital for treatment, where he succumbed to his injuries.In Dec 2025, Keshav’s friend Dheeraj had borrowed the money from Manu for his birthday. The officer said, “He did not return the money and therefore there was ongoing tension between the two. Keshav entered the scene and asked Manu not to pressure Dheeraj for the money.”Police said arguments between Keshav and Manu had taken place earlier as well. On Tuesday, Keshav went near the workplace of Manu, where the confrontation escalated into a physical fight, after which Manu allegedly pulled out a knife and stabbed Keshav.
