Chandigarh: Haryana chief minister Nayab Singh Saini on Wednesday held talks with Russian Ambassador Denis Alipov on expanding trade and investment ties between the state and Russia.During the meeting at the chief minister’s camp office, discussions focused on boosting exports from Haryana and exploring cooperation in sectors such as IT, automobiles, agro-processing, textiles and manufacturing.The two sides also discussed ways to improve market access, ease trade and logistics bottlenecks, and promote business-to-business engagement through industry interactions and joint forums.They also explored possibilities of cooperation in science and technology, startups, skilled manpower mobility, and academic exchanges between institutions in Haryana and Russia.The chief minister invited Russian businesses and institutions to explore opportunities in Haryana, citing the state’s infrastructure and investor-friendly policies.Alipov appreciated Haryana’s MSME sector and skilled workforce, and said there was scope for stronger economic engagement between the two sides.MSID:: 129803392 413 |
