The final decision will be taken by the MCG House.MCG commissioner Pradeep Dahiya told TOI, “We will have an overall increase of 15% to 20% in the budget. Since our CM emphasised development, the budget will be development-focused.” Officials indicated that this year the engineering wing of the corporation sought a higher allocation, reflecting the growing demand for infrastructure works such as road repairs, drainage improvements and other civic projects in the city.
