Kollam: Police on Thursday booked a security guard of EVHSS, Neduvathur, Kottarakkara, for allegedly stopping the headmistress from entering the aided school campus for wearing a churidar.The case was registered based on a complaint by headmistress Sindhu S Nair on Wednesday, when she was stopped at the gate by the guard, Shashankan. The FIR states that the act humiliated her and prevented her from discharging official duties. She alleged that the guard acted on the orders of school manager, K Suresh Kumar. Kumar denied the allegation and said teachers were free to wear any attire, adding that the HM was not stopped because of her dress. TNN
