Jaipur: Administrative secretaries in Rajasthan will now be required to undertake four-day district visits with a minimum of four night halts every month outside Jaipur, as the Administrative Reforms & Coordination Department revised guidelines to strengthen field-level governance and monitoring of govt schemes.A circular issued by chief secretary V Srinivas states that all administrative secretaries are required to visit different districts for four days every month and make at least four night halts outside Jaipur. Additionally, they must conduct one divisional-level review meeting each month.The circular also mandates that district in-charge secretaries will undertake a one-day visit to their respective districts every month, including a night halt.The dept has directed all administrative secretaries to submit a detailed visit note to the chief secretary and the administrative secretary. These visit notes must also be uploaded to the govt portal.
