Lucknow: Highlighting the growing influence of women in both professional and social spheres, Governor Anandiben Patel said that women are proving themselves to be all-rounders, contributing across sectors ranging from national security to agriculture, entrepreneurship and social service.Speaking at the Times Women of Eminence 2026 awards ceremony on International Women’s Day, organised by TOI and NBT, the governor commended the efforts of the Green Army, a Hope Welfare Trust initiative in Varanasi that cleans ponds, helps underprivileged children access education and undertakes community development projects.
