Pune: Goa CM Pramod Sawant, 52, underwent angioplasty on Thursday and remains stable under observation, hospital authorities said.
An official statement from the hospital by Dr Purvez Grant, chief cardiologist, chairman and managing trustee, said: “Pramod Sawant, Goa CM, is admitted at Ruby Hall Clinic. He has successfully undergone an angioplasty procedure. The intervention was completed without complications, and his condition is currently stable. He is recovering well and remains under close observation.” Sawant has served as Goa CM since March 2019.
