Porvorim: State govt is trying to notify the Artificial Intelligence Policy for Goa within the next 100 days, said IT minister Rohan Khaunte in the legislative assembly on Friday. He said the policy is being formulated and that substantive feedback from diverse voices is being received. The IT department, through Goaonline, already brought 280 services online across 41 departments, with 9.1 lakh registered users and 19.9 lakh transactions, he said. An AI readiness index is being developed to understand how ready each dept is to integrate AI. Khanute added that AI will be integrated as a structured subject in schools, and AI learning labs will be set up, while teachers will be trained in modern teaching methods with AI course content in Konkani, Marathi, English and Hindi.
