Pune: The online admission process for First Year Junior College (FYJC, Std XI) will begin on April 10.Like the last year, the Directorate of Secondary Education will implement a centralised online admission process for all junior colleges across the state.Students will be able to fill out the first part of the online application form by visiting the official portal: https://mahafyjcadmissions.in“From last year, it was decided that admissions to all junior colleges across the state would be conducted strictly online and based on merit. The process continued until the last student secured admission online. Even towards the end of the first term, additional online admission rounds were conducted for students who had not yet secured admission,” said Mahesh Palkar, Director of the State Secondary Education Department.The Secondary School Certificate (SSC, Std X) examinations have recently concluded, and the evaluation of answer sheets is currently underway.The FYJC admission form is divided into two parts, and the first part includes the student’s personal details. Accordingly, from April 10 at 10am, students can begin filling out this section through the official admission website. The second part of the form will be made available after the state board declares the results, Palkar clarified.Students can complete the form through the official portal.
