Patna: Six police officers were transferred in the state on Wednesday, including four IPS officers.A 2012-batch IPS officer, Ajay Kumar Pandey, who was serving as the DIG in the vigilance investigation bureau, has been transferred to the Prohibition and Anti-Narcotics Task Force in the same capacity.A 2016-batch IPS officer, Rajesh Kumar, has been made the SP of Naugachia. Kumar was posted as the SP of Prohibition and State Narcotics Control Bureau.Prerma Kumar, a 2018-batch officer, who was serving as the SP of Naugachia, has now been made the SP of Lakhisarai. While Lakhisarai SP Awadhesh Dixit, a 2019-batch IPS officer, has been transferred to the state headquarters as the SP (personnel-1).Two officers of Bihar Police Service were also transferred on Wednesday, including Ramkrishna, who has been transferred as the SDPO-1 in Barh. He was serving in the cyber crime wing in Katihar.Anand Kumar Singh, who was serving as the SDPO-1, Barh, has been given the charge of security of Patna high court as the DSP.
