Chhapra: All the identified filariasis patients in Saran district would be given a morbidity management and disability prevention kit, said additional director-cum-state programme officer, Dr Shyama Ray. He has sent letters to district vector borne disease officers of the state in this regard. Dr Dilip Kumar Singh, Saran district vector borne disease officer, said on Monday that according to an estimate altogether 1,58,644 patients of filaria have been identified in the state. Dr Ray directed that these kits must be made available to patients through primary health centres, community health centres and ayushman arogya mandirs.
