Mumbai: An altercation over seats in a second class women’s coach of a CSMT-Khopoli local escalated into a language row last Friday. The fight broke out after the train crossed Byculla. A home guard tried to defuse the situation but later sought police’s help. Meanwhile, one passenger told another to “learn Marathi or get out of Mumbai”. When GRP got on at Mulund, the home guard was unable to identify those involved in the fight. No passenger wished to lodge a complaint either. Kurla GRP said they were in the process of identifying those involved to question them. tnn
