Varanasi: Department of Physics, Institute of Science, Banaras Hindu University, is organising a three-day international conference on ‘Recent Advances in Multifunctional Materials and Devices (ICRAMMD-2026)’, from March 9 to 11. Convenor, Prof Sanjay Kumar Srivastava, said the conference aimed to provide a vibrant global platform for researchers, scientists and industry experts to share their latest findings and innovative ideas in the field of multifunctional materials and advanced devices. Co-convenor, Prof Anchal Srivastava, said the conference attracted participation from eminent scientists and researchers from leading institutions across India and several countries, including the USA, Japan, and Germany. He said that the event will facilitate meaningful discussions on emerging areas such as nanotechnology, energy materials, semiconductors, biomedical applications and smart technologies. TNN
