Gandhinagar: Electricity consumption in the state increased by 1,250 million units in 2025 as compared to 2024, according to information provided in the assembly on Monday. In response to a question by MLA Shailesh Parmar, govt said that while 1,26,968MU of electricity was consumed in the state in 2024, it increased to 1,28,218MU in 2025.In reply to a supplementary question, the state govt said that govt-run electricity companies generated 1,21,776MU of electricity in 2024 and 1,19,496MU of electricity in 2025.
