Gaya: Following direction from the Election Commission (EC), the special intensive revision of electoral roll has started in each of the 10 assembly constituencies of Gaya district. District magistrate-cum-district election officer, Shashank Shubhankar, has instructed booth-level officers (BLOs) and the supervisors to visit door to door to undertake the work. The campaign will continue till July 26. During the period, the BLOs and supervisors will be conducting a house to house physical verification of the electors and get enumeration forms filled. Before the campaign, a training workshop was organised for 3,262 BLOs and 343 election observers in all the 24 blocks of the district on Thursday.
