Jaipur: Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) Saturday arrested a senior constable posted with the Enforcement Directorate (ED) for allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 13 lakh in Sikar.The accused has been identified as Uttam Pandey, a resident of Sarai Pandeypur village in Ayodhya district of Uttar Pradesh.Director general of ACB Govind Gupta said the complainant submitted a written complaint at the ACB headquarters in Jaipur Dec 30, 2025 , alleging that he was defrauded in 2022 in connection with an investment in a private company.According to the complaint, Pandey allegedly contacted the complainant, claiming to be associated with the office of the Assistant Director of the ED in Chandigarh, and demanded money in exchange for removing the complainant’s name from the case and providing relief.The complainant alleged that the accused initially demanded Rs 20 lakh as a bribe, which was later reduced to Rs 15 lakh and finally settled at Rs 13 lakh. After verification of the complaint, the ACB laid a trap under the supervision of Deputy Inspector General of Police Anil Kayal.
