The seven-year-old grey horse Dyf, piloted by P. Trevor, etched his name in the record books by winning the Golconda St. Leger for the third time in a row at the Monday’s (Mar. 23) races here. The winner is owned by Mr. K.N. Dhunjibhoy and Mr. Z.K. Dhunjibhoy rep. Five Stars Shipping Co. Pvt. Ltd., M/s. Jiyaji Bhosale, Rishikesh Bhosale & Rama Seshu Eyunni. Originally scheduled to be held in October 2025, this classic race had been delayed due to an equine disease outbreak. Trevor confidently settled Dyf in fourth position over the gruelling 2,800m trip. Turning for home, he asked his mount for an effort and Dyf responded well to surge ahead and win in style.
