As per latest updates, Dubai Airports have confirmed that flight operations at Dubai International Airport (DXB) and Dubai World Central – Al Maktoum International Airport will remain suspended until further notice. The advisory was issued through official Dubai Airports communication channels, including its verified X (formerly Twitter) account. The advisory also urged passengers not to travel to the airport until further notice.Meanwhile, on March 1, Dubai Airports also confirmed minor damage in an incident. On X, Dubai Media Office wrote,“Dubai Airports confirms that a concourse at Dubai International (DXB) sustained minor damage in an incident, which was quickly contained. Emergency response teams were immediately deployed and are managing the situation in coordination with the relevant authorities. Four staff sustained injuries and received prompt medical attention. Due to contingency plans already in place, most of the terminals were previously cleared of passengers. Further updates will be provided as they become available.”Airlines RespondMajor carriers operating out of Dubai, including Emirates and flydubai, have also released a similar airport advisory through their own official channels. Airlines have temporarily suspended operations. Many other prominent international airlines have also cancelled or rerouted flights that normally transit UAE airspace.
