Kanpur: Thousands of devotees came together to celebrate ‘Budhwa Mangal’ with faith and festivity in city on Tuesday. From dawn till late evening, chants of ‘Jai Bajrang Bali’ echoed across lanes, as people thronged Lord Hanuman temples to seek blessings.Almost every temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman wore a festive look, decked with flowers, lights and colorful decorations. The famous Panki Dham temple witnessed long serpentine queues of devotees patiently waiting for their turn to offer prayers, while similar scenes were reported at Dakshineshwar Temple on GT Road, Balaji Temple in Jawahar Nagar, and Hanuman Mandir on 80 Feet Road.Adding to the spirit of devotion, ‘bhandaras’ were organized at several places across the city.
