In a world where everyone is busy building their own careers and shaping their own lives, there are still some who choose to do life otherwise. A video captured in South Delhi’s Sheikh Sarai was such an example. It showed a man sitting on the footpath and patiently teaching a group of kids, one of whom was seen busy with his antics.
As seen in the video, the man, who had no formal setup or many resources, dedicated his time to educating the group. He was seen sitting on the pavement, checking a notebook, while a girl right next to him was engrossed in her studies. Meanwhile, two kids standing in front of him were seen getting into a bit of banter. He patiently dealt with them as he handed over the notebook. “Thank you from the busy world,” was written atop the clip.

The passerby, who recorded the moment, shared it on social media with the caption, “Captured at Sheikh Sarai, South Delhi. While the world rushes ahead, some souls choose to pause and spread kindness. A man teaching homeless children — not for fame, not for applause, but for humanity.” He continued, “People like him remind us that kindness still exists. We are proud of you, sir. And thank you, from this sometimes selfish world.“
Internet Applauds The Man For His Gesture
Once the video was shared online, it caught the attention of people. The simple yet powerful moment received praise from many users, with a section complimenting the man for his selfless gesture and kindness. “A sheer gentleman- Educating in return for nothing,” said one person.

The clip, which raked in over 1.2 million views, even reached the teacher who was teaching those kids. In the comments, he said, “Aap sabka dil se shukriya.
