Hazaribag: City based urologist Dr Satyajeet Singh said doctors, who are stressed with their work with involves attending patients in clinics and in the hospitals, to take breaks to get rid of the pressure. This prominent city-based doctor starts his day by dropping his daughters to school before he checks into the hospital to attend to patients. Together with his Chitrangada, who is a gynaecologist, Singh spends most of his day working and gets little time to spend with their daughters. “As human being, I too crave for a break from attending patients. However, it is necessary to plan our routine ways that allow us to take out a bit of time for ourselves. These include going to the gym, unwinding by listening to music and spending time with family members on the dinner table,” he told TOI.“Not all of these is possible for me throughout the week. Four days a week, I go for walks in the morning or cycle. I practice yoga for 30 minutes and watch television. However, what reduces my stress are the chats with my daughters over dinner,” he said. “We also take holidays once every three months,” Singh added.
