Kanpur: Under the direction of K Vijayendra Pandiyan, vice-chancellor of Chandra Shekhar Azad University of Agriculture and Technology, Kanpur, the university’s vegetable section, Horticulture College, displayed vegetable varieties and technologies developed by the university at the ongoing 57th Regional Fruit, Vegetable and Flower Exhibition at Raj Bhawan, Lucknow.The university’s director research, Mahak Singh and director extension, RK Yadav, jointly stated that cherry tomatoes grown through the hydroponic method at the university were appreciated. They also explained in detail the ‘Increase Organic Matter in Soil Resolution Campaign 2026′ being conducted in 30 adopted villages in districts under the university’s work area. The stall was also appreciated by Governor Anandiben Patel and state’s Horticulture and Food Processing minister, Dinesh Pratap Singh.
