Hassan: Some II PUC girl students who appeared for the computer science examination on Monday were in shock after they learnt that they answered the wrong question paper.Six students writing the exam at Belur Girls’ PU College in Hassan district received the question papers prepared for repeaters as per the old syllabus. However, the students who go that question paper are freshers.A girl student alleged that they came to know about the wrong question paper only after returning from the exam centre, after checking her friend’s question paper.“Initially, I thought that the question paper was difficult, and I could not answer many questions. However, the issue came to light while discussing it with my friends. When we questioned the authorities concerned, they gave us 30 minutes to answer the correct question paper,” she stated.In-charge deputy director for PU education Ganapathi said he has issued a notice to the officials seeking clarification in this regard. According to the authorities at the exam centre, they rectified the mistake in a short time and gave extra time to the students.
