T’puram: CPI leader and two-time MLA from Vaikom, K Ajith, and Big Boss reality show fame Robin Radhakrishnan joined BJP at a function held at BJP party headquarters, Mararji Bhavan, on Sunday. They took membership from BJP state President Rajeev Chandrasekhar.Ajith justified joining the party, saying that dalits were not getting due recognition from the CPM-led govt. He said the opposition was also not taking up the cause of the dalits.Ajith had won from Vaikom constituency in the assembly elections in 2006 and 2011. He was serving as the CPI district council member. He said that he informed the party of his dissatisfaction long ago, but there was no action.
