Chatra: Hundreds of consumers blocked the Chatra bypass road on Saturday morning against the alleged shortage of cooking gas.Villagers and local gathered near the gas agency around 10am carrying empty LPG cylinders. They alleged that despite booking cylinders several days ago, they are yet to get one. Angry consumers placed their empty cylinders across the road in a queue, blocking vehicular movement on the busy road for an hour.Local administration officials and representatives of the gas agency later reached the spot to pacify protesters.TNN
