Trusting them, Nath handed over three gold rings and a gold chain. The duo then placed the ornaments in a paper packet and asked him to walk ahead. They returned the paper packet soon after and left the spot, asking him to be careful. However, when Nath later checked the packet, he found only stones inside. By then, the accused had fled.Police have started an investigation and are scanning CCTV footage from the area to identify the suspects.
