Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Wednesday extended warm greetings to the people of Jammu & Kashmir on the beginning of holy month of Ramadan.
He prayed for peace, unity, and prosperity across the region, urging everyone to embrace compassion, harmony, and togetherness.
The crescent for Ramadan, 1447 A.H, has been sighted, and the month of fasting will begin tomorrow (Thursday), Grand Mufti of J&K Mufti Nasir-ul-Islam Farooqi said on Wednesday evening.
