Mumbai: CM Devendra Fadnavis on Friday announced that a 130-acre world-class startup and innovation hub will be developed in Wadala to strengthen Maharashtra’s innovation ecosystem and support emerging businesses. The proposed hub will provide modern infrastructure and a comprehensive support system for startups, including incubation centres, research and development facilities, co-working spaces and technology support services. The initiative aims to promote entrepreneurship and create a strong platform for innovation-driven enterprises in sectors such as fintech, artificial intelligence, biotechnology and digital technologies. The project is expected to attract both domestic and global startups and investors. TNN
