CHENNAI: Chennai district collector Rashmi Siddharth Zagade declared a holiday for schools and colleges in the city on Wednesday due to heavy rain. Also, schools in Tiruvallur district will remain closed on Wednesday. Chennai and Tiruvallur districts received heavy rain on Tuesday. Waterlogging was reported from many areas.
