Nagpur: The Central Railway has revised timings of several trains connected to Nagpur, with the new schedule set to come into effect from April 14, 2026. The changes will impact arrival and departure timings of key trains, including the Mumbai-Nagpur Duronto, Pune-Nagpur and a few other passenger trains operating in the region.The most significant change is in the schedule of train No. 12289/12290 CSMT-Nagpur-CSMT Duronto Express. From April 14, the train departing from Mumbai will leave at 8.35pm instead of 7.55pm and reach Nagpur at 7.50am instead of 8.05am. On the return journey, the Nagpur-Mumbai Duronto will depart from Nagpur at 7.55pm instead of the current 8.30pm and reach Mumbai at 8.20am. The revised schedule will result in a slight increase in overall travel time.
Central Railway has also revised the arrival timings of Pune–Nagpur trains. The Pune–Nagpur Garib Rath Express (12113) and Pune–Nagpur Superfast Express (12135), both operating thrice a week, will now arrive in Nagpur at 9.20am instead of 9.10am. The new timings for these services will be implemented from April 14-15.Another minor change affecting the region is in the schedule of the Amravati-Ajni Express (12119), which will now reach Ajni station at 8.30am instead of 8.25am from April 14.Railway authorities stated that the timing revisions are part of operational adjustments and will help streamline train movements on busy routes. Passengers travelling to and from Nagpur are advised to check the updated timetable before planning their journey.
