Dhubri: A five-year-old boy missing since Tuesday was found dead in the Brahmaputra at Fakirganj on Wednesday morning.Faridul Ali accidentally fell into the river while watching erosion at Nishinpur village under the Birshing Jarua constituency in Dhubri district.Police and State Disaster Response Force personnel launched a search but could not trace him on Tuesday.Residents spotted his body floating near Boraibari in Fakirganj the next morning and alerted police. His family later identified him.Police recovered the body and sent it to Dhubri Medical College and Hospital for an autopsy. Source link
